There is a shipwreck, 12 people on it, 6 drown 6 survive but they all stood in the same position at the exact same time. How is this possible?

    They were in shallow water and stood on the shoulders of each other. So, the others drowned, but the top 6 didn’t?

    It’s impossible for all to stand in the same physical location at the same time. But by same position, do you mean the "standing position"? Could you clarify your riddle?

    The 6 who survived knew how to swim and had the floaters. The 6 who drowned just did not know how to swim and did not even think to hold on to the ones who can swim.
