Questions About Pantene's Ice Shine Collection?
I’ve used Pantene products before and they have only left that gross waxy crap in my hair that a bunch of people have complained about with their products.
The only product of theirs that hasn’t done that for me and has given me really nice hair is their simple clarifying shampoo. Since the Ice Shine shampoo isn’t creamy and is clear like the clarifying one, will it keep from leaving me with that waxy stuff that all of their other products do? And would the Ice Shine conditioner keep the gunk out of my hair too?
I’ve been using Dove shampoos and conditioners and just want to try something new, I love the way the clarifying shampoo leaves my hair but I know that clarifying shampoos shouldn’t be used more than twice a week since they tend to dry out your hair. I’ve never used the conditioner that goes with the clarifying shampoo so I guess my main question is..
will the Ice Shine shampoo and conditioner work like the Clarifying shampoo? meaning there won’t be an residue left in my hair?
thankkkzzz everyone for baring with me<333
I’ve used the Ice Shine shampoo and conditioner and I liked it. I have naturally curly frizzy hair that gets too fluffy if I wash it very often and gets too dried out because I straighten it so much, so in my experience of only washing my hair 3 or 4 times a week with the Ice Shine shampoo is good. If you have thinner hair that tends to be on the oily side, then I wouldn’t reccomend it though, it will probably make your hair feel too oily.
I tried it, and it made my hair shiny, but it also made it feel kind of plastic, like barbie hair
Actually, the "Ice Shine" has been on TV as being "The Best". Just ask your friends, or call the number on the bottle?
I didn’t like the Ice Shine products AT ALL.
They made my hair kinda … tangly (?) for lack of a better word. The shampoo seemed OK, but the conditioner left my hair very hard to comb through and didn’t soften it. During and after styling, my hair felt and acted brittle and static-y.
I’ve been using the Pantene "Smooth" shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks and having good luck with it. I’m not really a fan of drugstore hair products, but wanted to give the Smooth products a try, and I have to say I’m pretty impressed … and so was my hairdresser.
I’ve never tried Pantene’s "Clarifying" line, so I can’t really comment … I use Neutrogena shampoo once every few weeks to remove buildup (I don’t really use a lot of styling products, so that’s not much of an issue for me) … but I can’t recommend Ice Shine to anyone based on my own experience. Since you like Pantene’s Clarifying shampoo, why not try the Clarifying conditioner but use a more gentle shampoo on the days you don’t use the Clarifying shampoo?
