1. Nitrogen Narcosis….when diving at deep depths, the solubility of gases increases…. i.e. the air you breath dissolves faster into your blood. the gases in the air mixture act as a narcotic…..leads to a feeling of intoxication. Sort of like being drunk.
2. Your lungs don’t expand as far. They compress the deeper you go.
3. If you have air trapped inside your body…. usually in the ears…sometimes inside teeth fillings……The high pressure causes discomfort.

It can make you cold (possibly it could also make you hot if you were in a hot place).
It causes gases to disolve in your blood possibly leading to the bends.
The pressure can cause discomfort or pain on your inner ears or other parts of your body with trapped gas.
