If You Are a Republican, Do You Understand That Bush Made a Shipwreck Of?

this country, and that Obama has spent all his time trying to right the ship and get us off the rocks? Why are you against Obama correcting the problems that he inherited from Bush?

While not a fan of Bush, Obama is actually making them far worse.

good questions…..however I am going to venture out and say that no republicans will ever admit it, and you’ll never get a solid response. They are just that ignorant!

Bush did nothing without the specific consent of Congress. Which of the "shipwrecks" you refer to were voted against by Dems in Congress, including Obama during his short tenure there?

Bush did not force unwanted health-care down our necks.

Bush was, if nothing else, an American Citizen.

Bush did not bow to our enemies.

How long will you people blame Bush anyway?

Ohh and feel free to speak out against Bush, as it is not considered a racist thing to do, unlike speaking out against Obama.

if you are an Obama supporter…and this is the best you could produce in lieu of examples of substantive progress from the Obama Administration…wouldn’t it be more beneficial to demand more from your side instead of blaming the other?

Research who was in charge in the Last term of Bush. Research what democrats should be in jail for the fannie mae and freddie mac scandle that the government controlled media won’t report on. Do the reasearch as to which three democratic congressmen should be investigated. Research which one of the them is now in charge of watching over the scam. The danger to this economy are the people who refuse to put the blame where it belongs, and just believe the political lies that are just rotting in the gutter because no politician wants to clean them up due to skeletons in their own closet.

You should learn what caused this mess before you ask such a question.

I will say this, look up CRA (community Reinvestment Act) that was started by carter (moron) and added to by clinton.

I could start from the beginning but you can look that up.

I am a Republican and most Republicans are very disappointed in Bush. But now I realize, that it doesn’t matter whether you vote Repulican or Democrat .. they are BOTH THE SAME.

It makes no difference. They BOTH are corrupt and support the central banking cartel who print money out of thin air. It is the BANKERS that are deliberatly wrecking our country. The politicians are just puppets for them.

I am now a Libertarian and support people like Ron Paul and Peter Schiff. These are truly the few honest politicians I’ve seen in my life time and I am now a senior citizen.

I dunno, if that’s true then Clinton is to thank for the enormous surplus that Bush magically found when he usurped the office.

Wait…then that means there are consequences for actions, both good and bad. I think we would have heard something about that already.

Bush drove an "out of control" Dow that had spiraled up to 11,000 under Clinton’s policies back down to a far-more-manageable 8,279….

Of course, under Obama’s wild & reckless policies, it’s just headed right back up to almost where it was! When will you people learn? Democrats ALWAYS cause the Dow to just keep going up…

    DEMOCRAT PRESIDENTS

    Dow, 21 Years, +9.6% avg
    NASDAQ, 13 Years, +23.64% avg
    S&P 500, 21 Years, +11.66% avg

    REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTS

    Dow, 29 Years, +4.97% avg
    NASDAQ, 26 Years, +5.38% avg
    S&P 500, 29 Years, +4.38% avg

SORRY….. I disagree President Bush (whom I did not like)….. caused this "ship wreck"…. AND I disagree President Obama has done ANYTHING to get the ship of state off the rocks….

    JUST historically and factually WRONG

The seeds of this financial crisis were planted long before President Bush took office…. when Clinton castrated the Glass-Seagal Act he laid the foundation that allowed Chris Dodd and Barney Frank to manipulate the banking and housing industry into the disaster it has become….. Congress ignored warnings from economists AND President Bush…..AND Senator McCain….that the crisis was coming…. when it comes to the economy the only thing Bush did that was wrong…..is TARP….

As to Obama doing anything to save America…. WHEN ?……WHAT?
He destroyed NASA creating 9,000 unemployed in Florida alone…. countless thousands in the rest of the nation
He destroyed a BILLION dollar sports fishing and hunting industry…. caused hundreds of thousands of small businesses to close
His Health Care "abortion" has NOT solved the problem….will cost corporate America 94 billion dollars which you and I will pay…. and cost the government 1.3 trillion dollars we do not have
He has created NO "real" jobs….. just changed the way unemployment is calculated so HE looks better…. lazily re-instated the FAILED economic policies of FDR….the ones that kept us in the great depression ten years longer than necessary (USC study)

In the late 90′s we were warned that continued deficit spending…..continued entitlement programs would bankrupt the nation….. thanks to the ineptitude and incompetence of President Obama we are making great strides toward that national bankruptcy

    ANSWER ME THIS…
Obama said Iraq was "The wrong war in the wrong place"….why are we still there?
Obama said he would closed Guantanamo…. Why are we still there
Obama said he would safe guard America….Why have we for the first time in 7 years been the victims of FOUR terrorist attacks
Obama said he would lower unemployment….all he did is FAKE the numbers so it "looked good" when it really went up not down
Obama said he supported the Afghan War…. then failed to support and even FIRED the troop commander
Obama promised to lower taxes on 95% of America…..and now has raised taxes on 100% of America
Obama said "I will hire no lobbyists"…..then immediately hired TWO
Obama said he would have a "clean honest " administration….then hired two people who STILL have not paid their back taxes
Obama said "Judge me by the people I surround myself with"….. then hired a pedophile a card carrying member of the National Alliance of Men Boy Love Association that advocates sex between men and underage boys …. also hired a socialist / communist

If Obama is doing his best for the nation I shudder to see his worst

Neither Bush nor Obama shipwrecked this country. 9/11 took its toll and she didn’t come back up from it. War costs money, big, big money. Our hedge of protection came down on 9/11 and we got the biggest wake up call and very few adhered to it. Wall Street was overboard for too many years with greed and disgust. Clinton gave away the ship when they insisted everyone gets a home whether they can pay for it or not. Credit cards put Americans into deep debt and made a slave of us. The ship had no captain. George Bush Sr., Bill Clinton, George Bush, Jr and Barack Obama have not been good captains. When you worry more about World Government, more than you do American Government, America will always suffer and she is suffering greatly.

Woodrow Wilson shipwrecked this country when he took us off the gold standard. And the enemy has come in like a flood!

You got it turned around. Obama just loves to blame it all on Bush. Bush made some mistakes but Obamas mistakes are much worse. He’s destroying this country and leading us into Communism or it could turn into Islam, either one. They are fighting to death to separate church from state which is a big pretense. It’s only because they hate Christianity. He wants to bring Islam in and if he does that religion and politics are one absolutely—no separation at all, and no religious freedom either, and no freedom period except for dedicated Muslims.
