you’d have to secure the rights, or get the owners of the land to sign them away to you. ain’t going to happen, because you have to get their permission to be on their property.
i dont know, but lucky you.
you keep quiet about it till you got alot of it hidden away then go and file a claim on it that way if whomever decides you don’t get squat then at least you’ll have the last laugh!! that is what I would do I have no idea what you would do?
Sorry, but you wou would last about as long as a snowball in hell carrying around THAT information.
If you want money for finding a shipwreck you will have to be the one to go down and retreive the loot and sell it on the open market.
You might TRY to write a contract with someone in exchange for such information whereby you could be a "partner" but the cost of bringing up the loot might not be too impressive to a veteran treasure hunter. He might not offer you MORE than a triffling
Then there is the legal aspects of the ships legal ownership. If the cargo was insured, the insurer MAY have a claim on it. If it is in a country’s territorial waters they may claim it as theirs and you get NOTHING.
This includes ships laying in international waters.
Why do you ask, did you get a secret map in your Cheerieos box this morning?
