I Can’t Find Diving Lessons, What Do I Do?
I want to try out for the diving team at my school. I really want to do it but I don’t have any diving experience. I’ve taken gymnastics for a couple years when I was younger, and I’ve been doing dance every year since I was 3.
But I don’t know what to do to prepare. There’s no pool with diving boards. I have a member ship at the YMCA, but they only have blocks and we’re not even allowed to use them. Is there more ways to prepare? Please help!

I think the try outs are about nov./dec. So that gives me a couple months…yeah, 3-4 months.
Check out local colleges- they might have a diving club that practices there. You can contact the head coach at the college or university and they’ll be able to tell you if anyone is using their pool to hold diving lessons.
