Has the Soccer Replaced the NHL in North America?

I think so cause ice hockey players are wimps. Soccer players dont cry when they fall and dont lay on the ground and cry for 10mins. Also ice ice hockey players cheat the dive all over the place. Alexi Lalas said that the MLS is bigger than the NHL.

No. Both have stupid rules that take away from the enjoyment of what could be much more exciting sports.

Maybe down south. Hockey is still very popular up in the north though. But, I think with some time and good marketability (when we get it), the MLS could beat out the NHL eventually…At least, in the U.S. And hopefully it will grow some in Canada, especially with the addition of Toronto FC. I definitely think that’ll get some Canadians interested.

Not even close. Hockey is after U.S. football, basketball and baseball and still far more popular than soccer.

I think soccer is becoming more and more popular in North America, so maybe soon. I personally LOVE soccer. It’s the world’s favorite sport, I think. It’s such an awesome game.
