Excellent video, but tragically sad.
The loss of this ship, together with the Wilhelm Gustloff, Cap Arcone and Goya are the worst maritime tragedies in history, yet hardly anyone knows about them.
so much death in such a small sea…
Wilhelm Gustloff, General Von Stueben and what was the other ship that sank in the Baltic Sea with them? Not the Estonia either!

I saw it in the National Geographic magazine in 2005. It was scary. In some parts they called this ship ”The Ghost Ship”.

My Opa (Grandfather) died on this ship. His name was Kasper Foschepoth and he was a doctor. My mother was one when he died.
