Can a DC Motor Work Under Sea Water? if Not, How Can It Be Made to Work Under/in Sea Water?

If the battery is water proofed enough, will a DC motor work under sea water? Will the salt water affect it? I’m not talking deep sea diving.

Only if it’s enclosed in a water proof case the terminals have to be enclosed . The motor has to be water proof like a trolling motor with seals.

As long as it is enclosed and waterproofed (Think Power "TILT" on an outboard).
